A hidden bearish divergence on the RSI indicator suggests a weakening trend. This same signal appeared in <strong>March 2024<\/strong>, just before a <strong>20%<\/strong> price drop. Traders should therefore prepare for <strong>volatility<\/strong> in the short term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"bitcoin-faces-a-downside-threat\">Bitcoin Faces a Downside Threat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s a gap located between <strong>$114,380<\/strong> and <strong>$115,635<\/strong>. History shows that <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> tends to &#8220;fill&#8221; these types of gaps, meaning the price retraces to cover this untraded zone. Although the peak of the index has not yet been <strong>reached<\/strong>, this elevated reading constitutes a <strong>warning signal<\/strong> regarding the risk of a <strong>short-term<\/strong> correction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the <strong>bullish<\/strong> <strong>long-term<\/strong> trend remains intact, investors should prepare for a period of <strong>volatility<\/strong> in the <strong>short term<\/strong>. Technical signals, such as the bearish divergence, the CME <strong>gap<\/strong>, and the IBCI index, point to a possible correction below <strong>$115,000<\/strong>.
