Record Inflows into ETH : Is a New Altcoin Wave Coming ?

Ethereum ETFs in the United States recorded $1 billion in inflows in a single session on Monday. BlackRock’s ETHA captured $640 million, followed by Fidelity’s FETH with $277 million. Total holdings have reached $25.7 billion, with more than $10.8 billion since the beginning of the cycle, indicating a growing appetite for direct exposure to ETH.

In July, Ethereum surged by +49%, compared to only +8% for Bitcoin, significantly outperforming the market. Ethereum-based DEXs recorded $24.5 billion in trading volume over 48 hours, double that of Solana. These flows show that ETF inflows are already fueling the entire ecosystem, particularly layer 2 networks and DeFi.

If this trend continues, a rotation toward altcoins could begin, primarily targeting Arbitrum, Optimism, Uniswap, or AI-related tokens like Render and Fetch.ai. This movement would likely remain selective, focusing on projects with strong utility.
