Once the <strong>RRP<\/strong> reservoir is <strong>empty<\/strong>, every new Treasury bill issuance will need to <strong>be absorbed directly by private buyers<\/strong>, instead of being offset by funds placed at the Fed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This shift threatens to <strong>drive up bond yields<\/strong>, forcing banks, hedge funds, and money market funds into fierce competition for funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other experts like Bruce, co-founder of Schwarzberg, believe the Fed&#8217;s inability to intervene could create <strong>major market problems<\/strong>, affecting the banking sector and even government funding. They highlight that the <strong>$2 trillion<\/strong> in excess liquidity accumulated during the pandemic played a &#8220;<strong>momentum<\/strong>&#8221; role, supporting markets despite rising interest rates. But with this windfall practically exhausted, the <strong>underlying fragility of markets is now exposed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-end-of-the-abundant-liquidity-era\">The end of the abundant liquidity era?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some analysts like <strong>Quinten<\/strong> even see this liquidity crisis as a harbinger of upcoming <strong>Quantitative Easing (QE)<\/strong> and a new wave of money printing.
