Indeed, behind this rise lie <strong>technical signals<\/strong> that deserve close attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to CoinStats data, the top 10 cryptocurrencies display an overall increase, but Bitcoin <strong>remains below a decisive technical level<\/strong> in the short term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-cme-gap-and-a-bounce-to-117000\">A CME Gap and a Bounce to $117,000?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> created a CME gap this Saturday, losing approximately <strong>1.87%<\/strong> of its value since the opening of Saturday&#8217;s trading session. Additionally, the decrease in volume signals a <strong>weakness in buying interest.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"daily-view-bitcoins-bullish-momentum-fades\">Daily View: Bitcoin&#8217;s Bullish Momentum Fades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On larger timeframes, <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a>&#8216;s configuration reflects a <strong>hesitant recovery.<\/strong> Yesterday&#8217;s bullish candle hasn&#8217;t been confirmed by new highs, demonstrating a lack of conviction from the bulls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/08\/BTCUSD_2025-08-23_17-31-32-1024x752.jpg\" alt=\"Bitcoin price chart in 4H\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>BTC has indeed failed to establish a stable support above <strong>$116,000.<\/strong> Closing below this threshold increases the risk of a return to <strong>$114,000<\/strong>. From a chartist perspective, a lateral consolidation pattern could form in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A bearish trendline has formed, and the resistance between <strong>$117,000 and $118,000<\/strong> could take several days to break.
