These include <strong>growing adoption<\/strong> of cryptocurrencies by institutional investors, increasing interest from <strong>governments and central banks<\/strong> in digital assets, as well as the <strong>intrinsic scarcity of <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a><\/strong> with its limited supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"technical-analysis-btc-heading-toward-new-heights\">Technical Analysis: BTC Heading Toward New Heights?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From a technical perspective, BTC indeed appears well-positioned to continue its upward trajectory. As mentioned in a previous article, <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/bitcoin\/halving-date\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> has everything it needs to reach <strong>at least $145,000<\/strong> in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this target could serve as a local peak for BTC. Indeed, Bitcoin cycles have changed, and the <strong>$180,000<\/strong> target might be reached in the more distant future, <strong>by the end of 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, Bitcoin needs to reclaim <strong>$117,000<\/strong> to turn bullish again in the short term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I\u2018m more than confident that Bitcoin will dump below $100,000 in September, followed by new ATH\u2018s in the coming weeks and months after \u23f3<\/p>&mdash; Doctor Profit \ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udded (@DrProfitCrypto) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DrProfitCrypto\/status\/1957625904269861065?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 19, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It remains likely that Bitcoin could fall below <strong>$100,000<\/strong> in September, as predicted by trader DrProfits. The daily chart and the MRC show similarities with BTC&#8217;s price action last February before its correction to <strong>$76,000.<\/strong> This time, Bitcoin could touch <strong>$97,000<\/strong> if this pattern repeats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although speculative, VanEck&#8217;s prediction of Bitcoin reaching $180,000 by 2025 highlights the still intact upside potential of the leading cryptocurrency. For savvy crypto investors, this outlook could represent an opportunity not to be missed in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, it&#8217;s important to keep in mind that the cryptocurrency <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/trading\/market-maker\/\">market<\/a> remains extremely <strong>volatile<\/strong>. Caution in the short term and throughout September remains a priority.
