Despite this impressive <strong>growth<\/strong>, major British bank Standard Chartered believes the second most important cryptocurrency remains significantly <strong>undervalued<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to analyst Geoffrey Kendrick, Ethereum still lags behind Bitcoin in many areas. Notably, flows into <strong>Ethereum <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/exchange\/best-cryptocurrency-exchange\/\">exchange<\/a>-traded funds (ETFs)<\/strong> are just beginning, and companies are only starting to warm up to the idea of holding <strong>ETH<\/strong> in their reserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet Kendrick is convinced this lag conceals significant <strong>growth potential<\/strong>. And that&#8217;s not all: in the longer term, the bank even estimates ETH could climb to <strong>$25,000 by 2028<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, this ambitious scenario depends on two <strong>key factors<\/strong>: Broader <strong>adoption<\/strong> of Ethereum ETFs, and greater <strong>acceptance<\/strong> among companies looking to hold ETH as a <strong>strategic asset<\/strong>. These developments remain uncertain at this stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, while Bitcoin is now recognized as a <strong>credible digital alternative to gold<\/strong>, <strong>Ethereum<\/strong> has not yet acquired this <strong>safe-haven status<\/strong> in the eyes of the general public. Currently, ETFs cannot practice staking in the United States, but lifting this restriction could attract a strong <strong>influx of capital<\/strong> to Ethereum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Kendrick, the cryptocurrency market is poised to enter a new <strong>growth phase<\/strong>.
