After making a <strong>highly optimistic prediction<\/strong> about the potential of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/exchange\/hyperliquid\/\">HYPE<\/a><\/strong> token last August, Hayes finally decided to <strong>liquidate everything to buy himself a brand-new Ferrari<\/strong>. This operation allowed him to pocket over <strong>$823,000<\/strong> in profits, representing a <strong>19.2%<\/strong> gain on his initial investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hayes himself announced this sale on social media, stating that he needed the money &#8220;to pay the down payment on the new Rari 849 Testarossa.&#8221; A Ferrari Testarossa that can fetch up to <strong>$590,000<\/strong> on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-126x-prediction-on-hype-that-never-materialized\">A 126x Prediction on HYPE That Never Materialized<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a month earlier, Arthur Hayes had been extremely bullish on HYPE&#8217;s prospects. During the WebX 2025 conference in Tokyo, the former BitMEX boss had indeed predicted that the token&#8217;s price could <strong>explode 126 times in the next 3 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, the continued depreciation of fiat currencies would stimulate the stablecoin market&#8217;s expansion and propel Hyperliquid&#8217;s annualized revenue to <strong>$255 billion<\/strong>, compared to just <strong>$1.2 billion<\/strong> at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-to-do-now-with-hype\">What to Do Now with HYPE?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although he realized substantial gains on his investment, Arthur Hayes added today that he still believed HYPE could explode in the coming years.
