The SEC has recently asked issuers of several alternative cryptocurrency<\/a> ETFs like XRP<\/a>, Cardano<\/a> (ADA), or Solana<\/a> (SOL) to withdraw their pending applications<\/strong>. While this may appear to be a setback, it actually represents a strategic shift<\/strong> by the regulator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In fact, the SEC is currently working on new standardized rules<\/strong> aimed at fundamentally simplifying<\/strong> the crypto ETF application process. Gone are the days of individual filings for each asset\u2014funds will now be able to obtain generic approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This new regulatory framework<\/strong>, developed in consultation with the CFTC, should enable clearer supervision<\/strong> of the cryptocurrency<\/a> market<\/strong>.
