Weekly BTC purchases have dropped by nearly <strong>77%<\/strong> in one week, marking a <strong>break in the accumulation rhythm<\/strong> that had been aggressive until now from the pro-Bitcoin giant. As of September 29, 2025, Strategy held a total of <strong>640,031 BTC<\/strong>, acquired for a total cost of <strong>$47.35 billion<\/strong>, representing an average price of approximately <strong>$73,981 per BTC<\/strong>. With the current BTC price hovering around <strong>$114,000<\/strong>, the valuation of this portfolio breaks all records: <strong>$71.7 billion<\/strong>, for an unrealized profit exceeding <strong>$24 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This reduction in weekly purchases could raise several hypotheses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Caution in the face of a <strong>sideways market<\/strong> between $110,000 and $118,000 in September;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactive risk management approaching a <strong>potential short-term peak<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>liquidity shortage<\/strong> on Strategy&#8217;s part.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-signal-of-maturity-for-institutional-investors\">A Signal of Maturity for Institutional Investors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This slowdown in BTC purchases by Strategy offers a dual interpretation for crypto players:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On one hand, it underscores the company&#8217;s <strong>constant confidence<\/strong> in Bitcoin as a long-term store of value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the other, it also shows that even institutional &#8220;BTC maximalists&#8221; can adopt a cautious tactical approach.
