The undisputed leader, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> (BTC)<\/strong>, has dictated the trend by sliding toward the <strong>$87,000<\/strong> zone. This price movement has acted as a catalyst for the entire sector, triggering a widespread <strong>correction<\/strong> across the majority of digital assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After experiencing an impressive <strong>rally<\/strong> in recent days, the market appears to be taking a pause. Total market capitalization (TOTAL) has wiped out <strong>$58 billion<\/strong> in valuation in a single day. This type of volatility is common after periods of intense upward movement, where the market seeks to establish new support levels before potentially attempting a new <strong>breakout<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"altcoins-in-turmoil-the-midnight-night-case\">Altcoins in Turmoil: The Midnight (NIGHT) Case<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As is often the case during a <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/bitcoin\/halving-date\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> pullback, altcoins experience even stronger selling pressure. The correlation remains high, and when the king of crypto sneezes, the rest of the market catches a cold. The most striking example of this session is undoubtedly the <strong>Midnight (NIGHT)<\/strong> token.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24NIGHT&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$NIGHT<\/a> hit my level, took the trade to keep building the stack. This type of violent <strong>dump<\/strong> reminds investors of the necessity for rigorous risk management, particularly on lower market cap assets that are subject to extreme volatility during <strong>retracement<\/strong> phases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"outlook-consolidation-or-reversal\">Outlook: Consolidation or Reversal?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, the underlying structure remains globally bullish despite this corrective movement. Investors will closely monitor Bitcoin&#8217;s reaction around the <strong>$86,500<\/strong> support level. Although a return to <strong>$85,000<\/strong> is still possible, the probability of a bounce from the bottom of BTC&#8217;s range is much greater than a drop to new lows in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This widespread decline is also likely due to the explosion in metals, including gold, silver, and platinum.
