According to his investigation, the individual behind the draining of several government wallets is none other than <strong>John Daghita<\/strong>, known by the pseudonyms &#8220;Lick&#8221; or &#8220;John&#8221;. The problem? The accusation is serious: the son allegedly exploited his father&#8217;s privileged access to embezzle more than <strong>$40 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not the first time these wallets have shown signs of weakness. Last October, <strong>$20 million<\/strong> had already been <strong>mysteriously drained<\/strong> before being partially returned. The on-chain movements are irrefutable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Massive transfers of <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum<\/a> (ETH) and stablecoins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An attempted laundering operation via instant exchangers to cover tracks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A direct connection with the seized funds from the Bitfinex case (2016).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This amateur mistake now makes it possible to link a real identity to what appeared to be a sophisticated hack.
