A whale<\/strong> attempted to swap $50.4 million worth of USDT for AAVE<\/a> tokens directly through the protocol’s mobile application. The problem? The transaction involved derivative versions of the tokens<\/a>, assets with virtually non-existent on-chain liquidity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier today, a user attempted to buy AAVE using $50M USDT through the Aave interface.
