The market is showing signs of fatigue after weeks of high volatility. According to him, the current setup is <strong>decidedly bearish<\/strong> in the short term. He anticipates a massive <strong>retracement<\/strong> toward the $60,000 zone. This level acts as a critical <strong>support<\/strong>. If the price approaches it, <strong>selling pressure<\/strong> could intensify, potentially triggering a <strong>breakdown<\/strong> if buyers fail to defend this frontline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"heading-toward-several-months-of-consolidation-before-the-final-capitulation\">Heading toward several months of consolidation before the final capitulation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned in our <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-news\/bitcoin-analysis-april-2026\/\">previous article, Bitcoin<\/a> is approaching a bottom zone similar to that of 2022. As Killa pointed out on X, a <strong>consolidation phase lasting several months<\/strong> could take hold until September, with a potential bottom <strong>between June and July:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf we continue to follow the trend observed so far, we can expect a few more months of volatility, which makes sense in a bear market. A gradual capitulation first, then a true capitulation later. This chart overlays several on chain models (such as MVRV multiples for short term holders, AVIV, True Mean Price, etc.) that historically indicate areas where Bitcoin becomes <strong>overpriced<\/strong> and where investors take massive profits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MVRV is the ratio between the <strong>current price<\/strong> of Bitcoin (Market Value) and the <strong>average purchase price<\/strong> of all circulating BTC (Realized Price \/ Realized Value). It measures the <strong>average unrealized profit<\/strong> of all holders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, AVIV is a <strong>more modern and improved<\/strong> version of the MVRV, based on <strong>Cointime Economics<\/strong>. Instead of taking <strong>all<\/strong> BTC into account (including lost coins or those dormant for years), AVIV focuses on <strong>active<\/strong> BTC (those that are actually moving, representing active investors).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AVIV band sits between <strong>$150,000 and $180,000<\/strong>, which helps refine the potential Bitcoin peak for the next cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"is-it-the-right-time-to-take-a-position-in-the-market\">Is it the right time to take a position in the market?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The prospect of a drop toward $60,000 raises a crucial question for traders: should you flee or accumulate? Historically, severe <strong>correction<\/strong> phases have often provided <strong>optimal entry points<\/strong> before the start of a new <strong>bull run<\/strong>. A return to the extreme green zone <strong>(between $53,000 and $45,000)<\/strong> therefore appears to be the optimal area to enter the market, assuming Bitcoin follows the same trend as in previous cycles.
