The blockchain didn&#8217;t see a thing: it simply executed the data fed to it by the oracle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-oracle-problem-the-achilles-heel-of-defi\">The &#8220;Oracle Problem&#8221;: The Achilles Heel of DeFi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This wild case perfectly illustrates the &#8220;oracle problem,&#8221; a well-known vulnerability since the early days of crypto.
