If approved, this filing will give rise to the very first ETF backed by a privacy focused <strong>cryptocurrency<\/strong>. <strong>Institutional investors<\/strong> would thus be able to gain direct exposure to ZEC without having to manage the technical complexities associated with the custody of these crypto assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grayscale&#8217;s timing is far from coincidental. Earlier this year, the SEC quietly concluded its lengthy investigation into the Zcash Foundation <strong>without pressing charges<\/strong>. This removal of regulatory risk has paved a golden path for institutional products, wiping out years of <strong>bearish<\/strong> sentiment surrounding the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"zec-whales-accumulate-en-masse\">ZEC: Whales Accumulate En Masse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the market&#8217;s reaction did not quite match the magnitude of the announcement. Tushar Jain, cofounder of <strong>Multicoin Capital,<\/strong> recently revealed that his fund has been heavily accumulating ZEC since February, viewing it as an essential macroeconomic hedge against growing financial surveillance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite this impressive <strong>rally<\/strong>, significant challenges remain. Approximately 30% of the circulating supply of Zcash sits in <strong>private pools (shielded pools)<\/strong>, which complicates the proof of reserves audits required by regulators. Institutional custodians like Coinbase Custody will need to prove that their infrastructure is flawless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-high-can-the-price-of-zcash-zec-go-after-this-breakout\">How High Can the Price of Zcash (ZEC) Go After This Breakout?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The approval of such a financial product would mark a decisive turning point for the entire crypto sector. If the SEC validates this ETF, it could trigger an unprecedented <strong>bull run<\/strong> for privacy coins, legitimizing their place in traditional finance. Zcash could then target new highs and potentially edge closer to its historical <strong>ATH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the ball is now in the court of US regulators, who are known for their caution regarding anonymization technologies. In the short term, the long cluster at <strong>$500 <\/strong>has a high probability of being swept. Nevertheless, the rise of ZEC could still reach between <strong>$700 and $900 <\/strong>this year if the <strong>$500<\/strong> level is maintained as support on the weekly close. In addition to hitting the top of its weekly FBB, the RSI is approaching overbought territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, the momentum is definitely there and all the ingredients are present for a long term rally.
