In May, capital inflows into the blockchain amounted to only <strong>$0.5 million<\/strong>, far from the <strong>$23.9 million<\/strong> generated by the competing project SUI. However, individual investors and whales still seem confident in the potential of the altcoin. The balance of SOL on <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/exchange\/best-cryptocurrency-exchange\/\">exchanges<\/a> has indeed decreased by <strong>4.13 million<\/strong> tokens over the past month, indicating sustained accumulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, <strong>SOL Strategies<\/strong>, a Canadian company, recently announced plans to raise <strong>$1 billion<\/strong> to purchase SOL tokens. This is evidence that institutions are still betting big on Solana&#8217;s potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"outlook-for-sol-price-in-june\">Outlook for SOL Price in June<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Solana&#8217;s price stands at <strong>$164<\/strong>, up <strong>11.5%<\/strong> since the beginning of May but down <strong>12%<\/strong> from its monthly high. This bullish scenario would be supported by the imminent formation of a &#8220;Golden Cross,&#8221; a <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/trading\/technical-indicators\/\">technical signal<\/a> typically associated with a resurgence of positive momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But investors should bear in mind that June has historically been a bearish month for Solana, with a median return of <strong>-8.97%<\/strong> over the past five years. The next 3 days will be crucial for SOL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite a mixed May, Solana remains a <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/\">cryptocurrency<\/a> to watch closely in June. If the altcoin manages to break the key resistance at <strong>$178<\/strong>, its price could <strong>surge<\/strong>. However, investors must remain <strong>cautious<\/strong> about a potential pullback, given Solana&#8217;s bearish history this month.
