According to a report by <em>Bloomberg<\/em>, the bank is now expanding its financing options to include <strong>Bitcoin ETFs<\/strong>. Wealthy clients can now use their cryptocurrency investments as collateral when applying for loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new initiative is aimed at all affluent clients of JPMorgan globally. Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Assets at VanEck, shared some additional details on social media. Its CEO, Jamie Dimon, had previously expressed <strong>skepticism<\/strong> towards <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/bitcoin\/\">BTC<\/a>. However, he recently announced that the bank would allow its clients to buy Bitcoin, acknowledging their <em>&#8220;right to buy Bitcoin&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JPMorgan plans to extend this cryptocurrency-backed lending service to its <strong>trading<\/strong> and <strong>wealth management<\/strong> divisions. In the future, the bank may even include crypto holdings in evaluating its clients&#8217; net worth, treating them as <strong>liquid assets<\/strong> akin to real estate or stocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This announcement signifies a major breakthrough in the adoption of <a href=\"https:\/\/investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/\">cryptocurrencies<\/a> by traditional financial institutions. With the integration of digital assets into their services, the banking sector is entering <strong>a new era of investment diversification<\/strong>.
