Dogecoin: Demand Losing Momentum
In recent weeks, demand for Dogecoin has declined significantly. Open interest in futures contracts has dropped by approximately 40% from its July peak. This decrease in open interest reflects diminishing demand and liquidity in the market.

Additionally, the current transaction volume in the Dogecoin derivatives market has also notably receded compared to last month’s levels.
Bearish Technical Setup Forming
Technical analysis of Dogecoin’s three-day chart indicates that the price could decline further, potentially down to its yearly low of $0.1360. Dogecoin is currently forming a symmetrical triangle, with a bearish trend developing since its peak last November.

Dogecoin’s price is also sitting at the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level, as well as at the crossover of the 50 and 100-day exponential moving averages. In this context, the most likely scenario is a Dogecoin drop toward its yearly low of $0.1362, approximately 40% below current levels. However, a breakthrough above the upper boundary of the triangle would invalidate this bearish forecast.
Crypto investors in Dogecoin must remain extremely vigilant in the face of these signs of weakening demand and the bearish outlook emerging in the market. Close monitoring of technical developments and derivatives data will be essential in the coming days.
