The Cautious Launch of the WLFI Token
September 1st marks the D-day for the launch of the WLFI token, backed by US President Donald Trump. However, World Liberty Financial is adopting a cautious approach, releasing only 20% of the presale allocations at opening.
Investors who participated in the presale rounds at $0.015 and $0.05 last year will finally be able to claim their WLFI tokens. However, the remaining allocations will stay locked under a vesting plan. The company plans to unlock the remaining 80% only after a community governance vote, giving token holders direct influence over the supply.
A Secure Locking System for Token Claims
To manage the token deployment, World Liberty Financial has implemented a feature called the Lockbox. This system will handle all WLFI token claims. Starting August 25th, presale investors must activate their wallets through this system before tokens are transferred to them.
The company has had this system audited by blockchain security firm Cyfrin, which confirmed that only verified code governs the claims. This prevents delays and offers a simultaneous experience to all traders on launch day.
Early Demand Visible on Binance Futures
Meanwhile, Binance Futures has already opened pre-market trading for a WLFIUSDT perpetual contract with leverage of up to 5x. This listing allows traders to speculate on the price of WLFI even before spot trading begins in September.
In summary, the launch of World Liberty Financial’s WLFI token, with Donald Trump’s backing, is already generating significant interest in the cryptocurrency universe. With a cautious token unlocking approach and the early opening of trading on Binance Futures, investment opportunities in this new token appear promising.
