Decentraland remains one of the most iconic metaverse projects in the crypto ecosystem, yet its token MANA continues to struggle to reclaim its all-time highs. Caught between a renewed interest in virtual assets and persistent bearish pressure, the price trajectory remains uncertain.

Price forecasts for 2026 through 2030 do, however, paint a potentially bullish picture — provided several key catalysts materialize. Here is a breakdown of the critical price levels and the factors that could change everything.

Is the symbolic $1 threshold genuinely within reach, or is it simply too ambitious a target for a token still trading well below that mark?

MANA in 2026: A Credible Rebound Between $0.25 and $0.40?

Decentraland MANA price prediction 2026-2030

Projections for 2026 place the price of MANA within a range of $0.247 to $0.40. This scenario is built on a gradual recovery in market sentiment around the metaverse sector, combined with a more favorable macro environment following the Bitcoin halving. Should the broader market enter an expansion phase, low-cap altcoins like MANA could benefit from a sector rotation effect.

From a technical standpoint, MANA must first consolidate above its current support levels before any meaningful breakout becomes viable. The $0.30 zone represents a key intermediate resistance: a weekly close above this level would open the door toward $0.40, a price not seen in several quarters. Conversely, a drop back below $0.20 would undermine the short-term bullish case.

Trading volume and on-chain activity on Decentraland remain critical indicators. A rise in the number of virtual land parcels traded and in daily active users would strengthen the thesis of a structural resurgence in interest — rather than a mere speculative bounce.

2027–2030: Can MANA Smash Through the $1 Mark?

Looking out to 2030, the most optimistic forecasts project MANA toward $4.90, driven by growing adoption of decentralized virtual environments and the continued rise of the digital economy. This scenario implies a more than tenfold increase from current prices — ambitious, but not without precedent in the history of crypto market cycles.

Breaking through the $1 threshold represents a major psychological milestone. Historically, MANA has already traded well above this level during the 2021 bull run, reaching an ATH of close to $5.90. The question is therefore not whether this level is technically achievable, but whether the project’s fundamentals justify such a comeback. The integration of AI features, the growth of NFT wearables, and institutional partnerships are all catalysts worth watching closely.

Between 2027 and 2029, an intermediate range of around $1.50 to $2.50 appears more realistic based on a gradual market progression. Momentum will largely depend on Decentraland‘s ability to retain its user base and differentiate itself from competitors such as The Sandbox or emerging platforms built on Solana.

The Risks That Could Hold MANA Back

Despite an identifiable upside potential, MANA carries several structural risks. Competition within the metaverse sector has intensified, with better-funded projects and Web3 gaming platforms capturing an ever-growing share of user attention. Decentraland urgently needs to grow its daily active user count — a figure that remains modest relative to its status as a pioneer in the space.

Its dependence on the Ethereum ecosystem also exposes MANA to fluctuations in gas fees and network congestion cycles. If Layer 2 solutions are not fully integrated, the user experience could continue to act as a barrier to mass adoption. Furthermore, any major correction in the broader market — particularly a reversal in BTC — would mechanically trigger bearish pressure across all altcoins, MANA included.

Finally, Decentraland‘s decentralized governance model, while consistent with its founding values, can slow strategic decision-making compared to more agile competitors. The project’s ability to evolve quickly will be a defining differentiator between now and 2030.
