Is Akash heading for a $1 surge?
Currently trading around $0.74, the native token of Akash Network (AKT) is showing exceptional momentum. This spectacular 17% surge is driven by the performance of AkashML, the interface dedicated to deploying decentralized AI models.
According to the latest data, the network has crossed a symbolic milestone: 6.5 billion AI tokens processed daily. This real usage metric acts as a powerful fundamental catalyst, massively attracting capital to the DePIN ecosystem and justifying the price surge.
Can the AKT token sustain this bullish rally?
From a technical perspective, this move has allowed AKT to break out of a prolonged consolidation zone. The current breakout is accompanied by an explosion in trading volume, confirming the strong interest of institutional and retail buyers in the artificial intelligence narrative. Indeed, a 6 hour order block has formed below its price, offering solid support at $0.62.
However, AKT is currently facing a similar bearish order block. If AKT breaks through $0.82 with volume, it could then target the 1.618 Fibonacci extension at $1.07. This represents a potential upside of 47%.

In the short term, a pullback to $0.71 is likely before resuming the uptrend. The bearish divergence on the RSI is also worth monitoring. Any difficulty in breaking past this order block at $0.82 will increase the chances of retesting the liquidity zone around $0.62.
As long as the price trades above this critical $0.70 level, the structure remains fundamentally bullish. A slight short term correction cannot be ruled out to flush out overleveraged positions. Should the momentum continue above $0.82, the next resistance to watch stands around $0.865, a crucial psychological threshold for the future.
Should you buy Akash?
The success of AkashML proves that real utility can dictate price action in a market often dominated by speculation. The deflationary mechanism of the network adds further pressure: as AI usage increases, the supply of AKT becomes scarcer on exchanges.
However, the crypto market remains unpredictable. A sharp rejection below the $0.85 zone could trigger a retracement towards $0.63, turning this surge into a fleeting movement. Traders will need to closely monitor volume trends over the coming days.
As the demand for decentralized computing power explodes globally, does AKT have the necessary fundamentals to shatter its previous all time highs and establish itself as the undisputed leader of AI cryptos?
What is certain is that Akash Network is positioning itself as one of the most mature DePIN projects on the market, offering a decentralized cloud infrastructure that allows users to rent computing power (CPU, GPU, storage) at prices up to 85% lower than giants like AWS.
Thanks to its reverse auction model, providers worldwide can monetize their idle servers while developers and businesses gain access to a sovereign and affordable alternative. The launch of AkashML marked a decisive turning point: this simplified interface now makes it possible to deploy AI models in just a few clicks on a fully decentralized network. With over 6.5 billion AI tokens processed daily, Akash demonstrates real and non speculative adoption, which remains rare in the sector.
From an investment standpoint, AKT presents an attractive profile for long term investors convinced by the AI × DePIN narrative. The deflationary tokenomics (token burning through network usage) creates a powerful alignment between usage growth and token valuation.

Nevertheless, selling pressure has been strong on AKT. The weekly order blocks will be difficult to break through. The biggest resistances are located at $1.60 and $3.50. This would offer a return between 2x and 5x if the market provides this retest. For long term investment, caution is advised as the price approaches $1.60.
At $0.74, the market capitalization remains modest compared to the potential of the decentralized cloud market, which is estimated at hundreds of billions. However, competition (such as Render, Bittensor, and Nosana) remains fierce, and macroeconomic risk stays high. Ultimately, AKT is particularly suited for patient investors willing to bet on real utility rather than pure hype.
