This is the case for analyst known by the pseudonym apsk32, who bases his projections on the “power law” model, forecasting Bitcoin to reach $300,000 by the end of 2025. According to him, BTC has been following an exponential growth curve since its inception, developing through successive cycles.
Even though the current price appears significantly above the historical trend—a classic pattern before the final surge of a bull market—apsk32 sees this as an opportunity rather than a danger. “This is the beginning of the final parabolic growth phase,” he states optimistically, while acknowledging it might be prudent to take some profits ahead of time.
What’s particularly striking about the current dynamics is the influence of institutional players. Far from retail investors, it’s the large investors who seem to be pulling the market strings. They represent 70% of inflows into Bitcoin ETFs.
BlackRock’s IBIT fund has even surpassed $80 billion in just 374 days, becoming the fastest-growing ETF in history. Meanwhile, companies like MicroStrategy (now Strategy) continue to accumulate BTC massively, reaching nearly 600,000 units.
With this institutional appetite, retail investors currently appear to be on the sidelines, suggesting a continuation of the upward movement.
Bitcoin could therefore exceed its 350-SDMA at $172,000 for the first time in this cycle.
