Investing in ICP means betting on long-term adoption and the team’s ability to execute its vision, rather than on an imminent catalyst. Its valuation of $1.93 billion is lower than TAO’s, and its moderate annual inflation (5-7%) is a positive point. However, it needs a strong “narrative momentum” to truly outperform.
Moreover, ICP was the fastest blockchain in November and experienced the largest increase in new developers. A promising sign for the years ahead.
The choice between TAO and ICP depends on your strategy. TAO is the choice of clarity and short-term momentum, driven by an imminent halving and better market dynamics. ICP is the contrarian bet, an investment in technology that has much to prove, but whose rebound potential is colossal.
